Getting started

One of the coolest features of SpreadCV is that it’s pretty easy to use. You can create your own personalized resume page within minutes by simply following these 4 easy steps:

Step 1: Sign in

First, click the “Sign in with Google” button and log in to your Gmail account. Once you logged in, your dashboard will automatically appear on the screen.

Step 2: Set your profile link

Specify your own profile link (i.e. and click on the “Save” button.

Great! You’ve created your page. So far so easy!

Step 3: Edit your spreadsheet

Now, it’s time to put some content in your resume. Click the “Open your sheet and edit” button and start editing. We have already prepared a template for you. You just need to edit it according to the content of your own CV.

There are 6 tabs on the bottom of the spreadsheet which are the main sections of your CV. Every single row of these tabs is editable. After you edited the content, click on the “Share” button. Now your CV is published!

A little warning: If you delete one of the titles in the tabs (i.e. Name), the title will disappear on your resume. So, we don’t recommend that. But, you can edit them as you like.

Step 4: Choose a theme

Finally, the easiest part: Choosing a theme for your CV. We have prepared two options for you (for now). Choose one of the “Default” or “Formal” theme options to your liking, and simply click on the “Activate” button.

And, that’s it!
You’re good to go. We told you it was easy…

Your personalized CV page is all set. Now you can proudly use it! You can access your dashboard anytime you want by clicking the “Go to your dashboard” button on the main page and view your CV by clicking the “View page” button, or simply typing your page link (i.e. to your browser. If you’d like a PDF version of your resume, click the “Export CV” button on the bottom of your CV page.
